Keep originals

Keep original photos, messages, recordings, logs, and files where possible. Copies are useful, but originals matter.

Write down dates, times, locations, people present, and what happened before and after an incident.

Avoid posting sensitive evidence publicly. It can create safety, privacy, and legal risk.

Use controlled private, legal, safeguarding, police, or specialist support routes for review copies. Keep the raw archive separate and protected.
